How many times do I need to come?

After the osteopath conducts an initial consultation, they can advise on recovery times. It could be an acute problem which may only require a couple of sessions or a chronic issue which may require maintenance and every possible combination in between.

Are you going to click me?

Whilst Osteopathic manipulations can be very successful, there are a variety of other methods which can be used to achieve the same results.  The clicks will never be done without consent and if you really don’t like them, please tell us!

What should I wear?

It is important to see as much as possible of the affected area, so with back pain if you are happy to remove your t-shirt you can or please bring a vest to wear otherwise. Thin loose clothing can usually be worked through. If you have a knee, leg or hip, shorts are preferable. Please make sure clothes are comfortable for you.

Do you take cash and card?

Yes, both cash and card are accepted. Payment will be asked for at the end of the session.

How long are the sessions?

Initial consultations last 45mins-1hour and continuations are 30mins.

Can I bring a companion?

Young people under the age of 16 should have an accompanying adult. Everyone else is welcome to bring a trusted companion with them if they wish.
